The scandal about Kate Winslet in the next issue of Vanity Fair steps up a gear, as the star is "furious" at claims her pictures for Vanity Fair magazine were airbrushed.
The Titanic star - who told the magazine she still feels like a "fat kid" - has hit out at comments in British tabloids that portrait of her lying naked on her front across a chaise longue wearing only stockings and heels have been airbrushed to enhance her figure.
Kate's representative told People.com: "Kate is furious at suggestions that her body has been airbrushed.
"She is in terrific shape and what you see is how she looks or she would never have agreed to pose for those shots.
"The only retouching was the usual work on skin tone that happens in every glamour shoot."
